This Spring, let’s elevate your fashion to new heights — heel heights, that is! The runways have been full of fabulous footwear this season and I can’t wait to shop them all at my next visit to the Esplanade!

Admittedly though, browsing through the most recent runway shows is comparable to strolling through the Tower of London. Bedazzled shoes as ornate as the crown jewels are perhaps best left on the runway than the streets. (These Dolce & Gabanna (insert link) Mary Jane Pumps I saw at Saks Fifth Avenue come to mind!)

In that same stride, though, what I love most about the shoe trends this Spring is the artistry to them all! Colorfully, sculpturally — so many of this season’s trends could easily hold their own in a museum! As a self-professed shoe-girl, I’m always looking for statement shoes! Here are a few of my favorite trends this season…

1) The Caged Look

The 2017 gladiator trend has been reinforced with style this season! Totally loving Altuzurra’s Classic Leather Gladiator Sandal (http://bit.ly/2GtdJN2). This look is perfect to add a bit of fierce to the feminine!

2) Bulky Sneakers

Pucci (http://bit.ly/2GxjtFs) transformed the classic sneaker with bold block colors, the perfect balance to their notoriously kaleidoscopic patterns! Be sure to stop by the Pucci store on your next stop to the Esplanade and try on a pair!

3) Plastic

Whether it’s a classic jelly shoe (http://bit.ly/2uksRr8), or a jeweled plastic pump (http://bit.ly/2GwJF3n) you can see right through this trend! If I’m being completely transparent, these Chanel Knee High boots are my personal favorite (http://bit.ly/2uk2Ecx).

4) Baja Sandals

This trend alone is worth staying in Florida year-round for! I love how these Valentino sandals (http://bit.ly/2pJZ3yH) elevate a classic poolside look!
